Any word on lake conditions and Fishing?
We have a group coming up in 10 days and havent really heard to much about the lake conditions with the algae bloom or how the bass fishing has been. Can anyone give some info to see what we are up against. Not much will change in the next 10 days I would guess. Thanks

Parts of lake are pea soup, visibility 1 foot or less. Depends upon wind. Bass fishing has never been better. The big girls (LM and SM) have been chewing, in the last three weekends 4 lbers have been boated and released each day. Just saw a pic yesterday of a 6lb 7oz boated on Saturday. Don't let the color of the water think the fishing will be poor.

That sounds good to me, the water color don't matter as long as the bass are biting.

Water has stayed a little higher than normal all summer and we just received another batch of rain. So I don't see it going down any time soon.
Give a starving man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
