Opening weekend

Post by Musky hunter » Mon May 30, 2022 10:14 pm

Raised 1 musky opening day (Saturday). Missed my spinner bait and came clean out of the water.

Nice. That’s always a rush when they clear the water. Did you happen to get a water temp?

Wow she warmed up quick! Thanks for the update, we will be up this Saturday, mostly fishing north of the causeway bridge. I’ll try to post reports daily, this board needs some life on it.

Thanks for the report. I will be up the 20th-26th searching for musky!
I have never fished or stayed here before.
Any pointers on where to fish for these elusive animals and recommendations on where to stay with a dock would be greatly appreciated!
Also, where I fish in WNY for spotted musky the numbers are extremly low. I may only catch one fish per season or none at all. So, I know how hard it is to catch just one of these fish and appreciate that... Thank you Musky Hunter for all your reports. They give me hope!
Thanks again and check your drag!
Jiggs
