Northern pike fishing report 6/5 to 6/12
Arrived today 3pm, went to public launch and backed up 10 boats or more. Never seen that but line moved quick. Checking your boat for weeds no big deal some folks seemed unhappy about that. Water is low but about what last year was like. Water temp 69f and light stain. Fished for a few hours around hog back and bowman picked up two pike 22" and 24" on the first drift. The rest of evening nothing but sure is nice being here for the week. Tight lines!

Re: Northern pike fishing report 6/5 to 6/12
6/6 first full day. Zero pike but nice weather, a bit warm but a stiff breeze SW 10 mph kept it doable. Drifted several bays with no pike. Did find some keeper crappie in big bay 10FOW. Water is 70F pretty much everywhere. We have a full week ahead and hope for the best. Seems like the entire week is going to be the same weather wise. But as always just nice to be on the water watching the lake. We did watch a mature bald eagle swoop down and catch a nice fish. Tight lines, Bob-O

6/7 hot nice breeze water is 75F. We caught two pike in the morning 29" largest and two pike in the evening 26" largest. Drifting bays and throwing spoons. Caught some crappie but most were under sized and released. Tight lines, Bob-O

Us too. Two of us arriving Friday, the 11th and 7 more on Saturday. We will be focusing on crappie and I'm sure will spend some time throwing some stuff for pike.

Hey Jerry, we leave Saturday so if you are here Friday let's talk if you want. We are three older guys in a basstracker named "why bone".
6/8 light rain and alttle cooler. Water temp 74F. We managed two pike the largest was 25". We are catching crappie most undersized in 8 to 10 FOW. Fishing is still slow but have to say the weather being warm the wind and overcast has been great to fish in. As always I just enjoy being here at the lake and taking in the scenery. Tight lines Bob-O

Bob,
I'll be sure to look you up. We have secured cottage 17 (the furthest from the main dock) and campsites 21 & 22. My grandson and I will be pulling in on Friday around noonish with his camper and my boat. Looking forward to meeting you.

6/9 wind shifted from south to north. Water temp is 75F pretty much every where. Weather and wind have been perfect but fishing is slow. We caught four small pike, largest was 18". We caught 20 crappie with 6 keepers and a few keeper perch. Tight lines Bob-O

6/10 heavy wind from the north in the AM. Water is still 75F pretty much everywhere. One pike in the morning and that was it. We only use lures so maybe the minnow folks are doing better. We have been getting crappie in 8 to 10 FOW. But most are under size, so out of maybe 20, 5 were over 9". Went out extra early this evening and wind let up and fished hard with zero pike. Tight lines Bob-O

I'm gonna pick your brain tomorrow about that crappie bite.

6/11 last day at BL. 73 F and light wind and drizzle. We caught two pike largest was 20". We did get into a school of feeding perch in big bay in the evening during the drizzle. This is the final post of our 2021 annual trip. I wish all future fisherman lots of luck and stay safe. Tight lines Bob-O
A shout out to Jerry and family. Very nice meeting you and hope you have a great week of fishing and family at the best kept secret in the north east.
