Dead fish

Reading over Bob-O's report and noticed he was seeing alot of dead crappie. We had a group up in mid September last year and saw the same thing, but not only crappie, there were sunfish, bluegill, crappie and even a few bass. Many of the bass caught had red sores on them. We were told that the ice over should help with that situation. Just a concerned fisherman. Any thoughts?
