Water levels compared to the St Lawrence for July 2019
Coming up to Black Lake in July, usually go to the thousand islands but trying to dodge the high water levels. Will Black Lake be affected terribly buy a high river watermark in the saint Lawrence? Can't find much information on what happened in 2017. Thanks in advance for any responses

Re: Water levels compared to the St Lawrence for July 2019
Black Lake is a natural, glacial flow lake that drains into the Oswegatchie River and is fed from the Indian River chain of lakes and watershed. Occasionaly, the Oswegatchie is high enogh to "back feed" into the lake, but the St. Lawrence River cannot feed into Black Lake.
Right now the St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario are at a near record level (above 2017) and are still rising.
