Bait question

Post by njmike » Fri Jul 17, 2015 12:34 pm

I'm new to the fourm and new to black lake. I have read a number of posts that refer to crabs as bait. Would that be crayfish or some other fresh water crab?
With any luck (wish the bank would hurry up) my wife and I will be closing on our new black lake house in the next few weeks. I have been reading up on all the past posts and can't wait to get out there and do some fishing.

thanks, Mike

welcome to the boards mike. they are referring to crayfish, I believe all of the bait shops around the lake carry them. congrats on the new house.
