Fishing Report July 26/27

Did all of our fishing in Grindstone Bay and the mouth of the Indian River. Caught a few nice bass, but was surprised at the Northern Pike. Caught 4, between 20 - 24 inches and lost a bigger one...all released. Caught one on a floating frog lure in 2 ft of weedy water....caught a couple more on live minnows...never caught so many Northerns....they really hit well. Wish I had more time to fish, but the action was good in the time we had. Love Black Lake !!!!
