I'm heading up to Black Lake Friday 8/30...The two of us will be fishing all of black lake and both Rivers...All catch and release, all artificial baits. Any good advice? Fish Shallow? Deeper? How much has the lake and rivers been affected by the higher water this year? Any info would be extremely helpful. Thank you.

Curt, when I was fishing Black Lake I was fishing the 1st 2 weeks of July. The bays on the north end produced with frogs. The shoals of the islands produced with crankbait, jerkbaits, jigs & various soft plastics.
