Anybody fishing black lake lately? We go up in 26 days (not like we are counting down at all). Staying at Pleasant View Camp.

Bug...I'm going tomorrow & will give you a report. I'm pretty much just into panfish but usually catch get into the bass incidentally if that's what you're interested in. What with the cool down the surface water temp is down in the mid-50's but will warm up fast what with the coming weather.

Bug...Well, I struggled finding the gills in any numbers today. Still a little early I guess, esp. with the water temp below normal for this time of year. However, the bass wouldn't leave my little panfish jig alone. I probably caught a couple dozen. Kept moving to try and stay away from them.

we will be there for bass opener June 15 & stay for a whole month till July13..we have our cottage reserved for that time period for the rest of our lives..we always get tons of bass & crappies & gills

River- where are you staying? We are staying at pleasant view camp... And have a pontoon boat.

How the water level, hope it is getting better then what I have been reading.

Fished the Memorial Day weekend. Worst conditions I can remember in the past 35 years. Caught a couple hammer handle pike in the river, 1 17" walleye, some bass (everywhere) dink perch and 1 Crappie. We tried everything, casting, trolling drifting - wind was 25-30 MPH with gusts from the N-NW. Lake level was rising each day and water temps dropped from 59 deg on Thursday to 55 degrees on Sunday. Still had a great time and will do it again in a couple weeks.

25 days till we get there.. and yes im counting lol... been counting since i was last there in august

21 more days! can't come soon enough!

20 days til vacation and 21 til at the lake staying at pleasant view camp

13 more days till trip,i think i'll start packing now!

We have started packing somethings already.... since I am working 6 days a week.
19 days til vacation 20 days til the LAKE!

Same here Bugkiller, except for the working six days thing that is! Dreaming of the lake every day now!

I will be up to the lake this weekend. any reports on current conditions? thanks
