Black Lake, NY Forum

Just wondering if anyone does any late season bass fishing up there. I have caught some nice fish late in November on some lakes at home and i would think Black Lake would be awesome on some of those warm days. Everyone seems to be all pumped for ice fishing, but what about some late season fishing? I'm sure some people do it but i never see any reports.

We unfortunately followed a severe cold front up into southern Ont. to fish SM the week of Nov 5th and the bass fishing was horrendous for 5 days. Only landing a handful of SM each day. Talking 90% of fish in 1% of the lake. Next year it's going to be mid-October for sure.
