The lake rose about a foot last week and made fishing a little tougher. The weeds were not as prevalent as they have been in past years. Ended up with 73 Lg mouth 1 Sm mouth and 4 pike 2 of which were over 24 inches Most fish were caught on watermelon with black flakes and green pumpkin Z-nails the Sm mouth and the pike were caught on a Strike King square billed sexy shad crankbait. All fish were released but I noticed a lot of bass going to the cleaning house at the camp I was staying at very sad. I would support a 2 fish per day 13 - 15 inch slot limit and let the big ones live.
