Black Lake in September

just finished a week at Black Lake under some of the worst conditions I have seen in the 12 yrs I have been going there. Wife and I are thinking of trying again in early September. We have never fished Black Lake in early fall what can we expect??

It's quiet, nice weather, usually stable conditions. The fishing is completely different than in the Spring, but it can be very very good.

We have been going up in late September for a few years and were getting into the crappie each year.
