Kspako,
Do you have to move your dock further out as the summer rolls around or do you have a ramp from shore to the dock? I figure if I put the dock where the low point of last year was I will not have to move it and can just use a ramp to the dock until the water resides.
Dock question (again)

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Re: Dock question (again)
Mike,
I have a roll out dock with big plastic wheels....60 ft.
I roll it out into the water like you stated....far enough that when the water goes down the end will rest on the ground. I have a wood ramp that I put out in the spring to bridge dry land to the roll out dock. As the water goes down in the summer then I take away the portable bridges. I am in the north end by the monument.

Re: Dock question (again)
we do have a ramp section to the main dock two 12' walkways with floats under them. this help so we do not have to move it for the water changes.

Re: Dock question (again)
guys,
thanks as usual for the help. I'm glad BL has this forum to take the guess work out of camp stuff. This will be the first full year with the camp so I still have some things to figure out. Thanks again for the help. I'll post some pics of the dock once its in. see you on the lake.

Skippy,
I should be up this weekend putting the dock in. Feel free to stop by if you see a NJ plate in the driveway. I'll give you a call later today.
Regards,
Mike
