Purple Martins

Post by Fishpro » Mon Jul 25, 2011 12:32 pm

One of the many advantages at Black Lake used to be having Purple Martins around the camp for insect control. They used to be plentiful. A Purple Martin house would bring several nesting families of birds every year. For some reason the last three years they have been absent. Anyone out ther have any information of what may have happend? Hope Global Warming hasn't caused their demise. Catch & Release
