Musky hunter's Letter to Santa

Post by Musky hunter » Mon Dec 11, 2017 12:07 pm

 Dear Santa:
Thank you for the wonderful gifts you brought last Christmas. The Muskies I played with were much appreciated. And they were the correct size too!
I also love the fat 6 pointer you dropped in my lap on the 3rd day of the season.
I have tried to be extra good this year, I didn't start pike season on the first Friday in May as some bad kids always do. I also left the bass alone during May and early June. And I never pretended to be fishing for catfish so I could catch and release the big sturgeon that hang around our camp.
So..... Maybe you could talk to the owners of the new Edwardsville hair salon about including a Muskie Lure Dept. so I don't have to send so much money to Wisconsin every year for new plugs and spinner baits.
Tight lines Santa

Sounds like a reasonable request. Good luck.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Hi Santa, it's me again.
First of all thank you for 2018 gifts:
Another year to hunt and fish.
Stable water level all season. Dock didn't need adjusting at all.
3 hooked Muskies and 2 of them boated.
A nice buck on opening day and my nephew to do the dragging.
Gander Outdoors reopening and carrying a selection of Muskie lures.
Please bring us:
Gander Outdoors stocking some Muskie tackle to go with the lures.
A rod and reel repair shop in the area.
Thank you again Santa, and if you want to come down some weekend for some fishing, let me know. There will be room for you in my boat.
